garden harvests

These vegetables are so photogenic aren’t they? And I really would like to savour their beauty here, it lasts longer than the time it takes for them to get past my family’s lips.  It’s been so mild that it was not long ago I was still picking aubergines and courgettes, but it’s time for them to move over and make way for turnips, swede, leeks, carrots and kale which is only the more sweeter, not to mention the caterpillars have FINALLY given up, after the couple of frosts we’ve had.  Autumn gardening has only just begun around here.
